The Baadshaho star Ajay Devgan and Ileana D'cruz clicked in Lucknow on this Sunday afternoon to begin shooting for Kumar Mangat's film 'Raid'.
The two-time National Award winning actor plays a no-nonsense income tax officer of the UP cadre in the film which is based on true events. Set in the 1980s, the film is about one of the most well planned and biggest Income Tax raids in the country that was carried out in Lucknow. The Drishyam actor will be doing a 60 day non-stop shoot in Lucknow. Set in Uttar Pradesh in the 80’s, the film will be based on one of the most popular and well-crafted Income Tax raids in the country.
Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the script of the film is written by Ritesh Shah, who was associated with Pink and Airlift. The film is all set to hit the theaters on 20 April 2018.
