The Padmavati teaser will be launch on 21st September on the auspicious occasion Navrati. Now filmmakers changed date. Yes, you heard right. Now makers decided to teaser release on Dussehra.
After release the first look of Deepika Padukone from Padmavati became an instant hit on the internet. DP sports an Zardozi lehenga in the first look of the film. Now fans crazy to wait the first looks of Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh as Raja Rawal Ratan Singh and Alauddin Khilji.
A source reveals, “Bhansali is very traditional and he wanted auspicious dates even for his teaser and trailer release. So, after Deepika’s look, in the coming two-three days, the official looks of Shahid and Ranveer from the film will also be unveiled.”
Mr. Bhansali says, "I'm happy to bring the story of Padmavati to the screen. It was a fitting date for us to launch the first look of the film and celebrate this auspicious occasion."
Another source reveals," Neerja actor Jim Sarbh will be playing the role of the slave-general in the film". but, there's no confirmation news as yet.
Padmavati has Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles while Ranveer Singh will be playing a negative character in the film.
We can't wait to watch this mega spectacle come to life on the December 1st!
